BeanBay Green Bean Release - April 2015

    Available now...

    Ethiopia Ghimbi

Ethiopia Ghimbi. This dry processed Western Ethiopian has plenty of coffeesnobs fans. Motley colours during a roast don't stop this bean from having some great earthy and spicy attributes with more than a hint of coffee cherry fruits. Great body at a CS9 roast depth and it works well as a unique single origin coffee or you use it to add some interest to a blend.

    Kenya AA

Kenya AA Screened to a large AA size this washed and well graded bean roasts really well. Like many Kenyan coffees it will end up darker for the same given temperature so roast by probe, not your normal colour depth. In the cup it is crisp, winey and dry finishing, just like I remember great Kenyans to be.
It's great to see some good value Kenya coffees come back to the market.

    India Elephant Hills AA Grade

Indian Elephant Hills AA. This coffee hails from the Thalanar region well known for growing coffee, citrus and cardamom. Well processed and screened to a large AA grade this is an easy coffee to roast and works well as a single origin or as a base for a traditional Italian style blend. Super sweet yet quite bold in milk based drinks. Wonderful all rounder coffee.

    India Elephant Hills Monsoon

India Elephant Hills Monsoon AA grade large screen size monsooned coffee. The coffee is left to dry on racks slowly through the wet and windy monsoon season and this unique process yields a light weight, large size bean. Easy to roast it produces a crema monster in the cup with heavy bodied gelatinous crema and spicy, earthy flavours. Often enjoyed as a low acidity single origin or added to a blend to improve the crema.

Of course there are plenty of other coffees in BeanBay too, so you are sure to find something you love!

(with the exception of the 1kg Maui) All BeanBay green beans are packed in 2.5kg zippered cotton bags, perfect for storage for up to 3 years when kept in a cool, dark and dry position. We ship paid orders out from the Snobbery Monday to Thursday and BeanBay will show the available shipping options to your area. Larger orders are typically cheaper to freight so we suggest ordering all your requirements at once. We also strongly recommend that you ship to an attended address (eg: work or grandma's house) to avoid delivery delays.
