BeanBay Green Bean Release - May 2015

Colombia La Esperanza Las Margaritas Pacamara

Colombia La Esperanza Las Margaritas Pacamara
Another ripper Colombian coffee from La Esperanza. This one is a honey processed Pacamara varietal.
The "Cafe Miel" honey process leaves a more of the pulp and fruit in contact with the bean for longer and the result is a sweeter, fruitier coffee with the added environmental bonus of far less water used in processing. In the roaster it produces a lot of chaff and the result in the cup is a bold, heavy bodied , creamy mouth-feel with stone fruit aromas off the grinder.

    Rwanda Nyungwe A

Rwanda Nyungwe A is a high altitude coffee grown in high rainfall area. Good sized beans, super clean washing and very well sorted. Really easy to roast this and it's a true cocoa bomb roasted to early CS10 on a long slow profile. Big bold coffee flavours pull this through tall milk drinks with ease. Excellent as a single origin, equally useful in a blend to fatten-up a soft coffee.

This years crop is a little more expensive due to the Aussie dollar but still great value for such a great coffee.

Of course there are plenty of other great coffees in BeanBay too, so you are sure to find something you love!

    ...the fine print...
(with the exception of the 1kg Maui) All BeanBay green beans are packed in 2.5kg zippered cotton bags, perfect for storage for up to 3 years when kept in a cool, dark and dry position. We ship paid orders out from the Snobbery Monday to Thursday and BeanBay will show the available shipping options to your area. Larger orders are typically cheaper to freight so we suggest ordering all your requirements at once. We also strongly recommend that you ship to an attended address (eg: work or grandma's house) to avoid delivery delays.
