BeanBay Green Bean Release - Jan 2016
Available in BeanBay now:
Burundi Kinyangurube

Burundi Kinyangurube is a well processed bean from a land-locked African country that often has a lot of trouble getting their coffees to market. Located on about the same latitude as Kilimanjaro you can see the similarities in coffee style.
Small beans but fairly evenly graded which makes them easy to roast and control. Crisp white wine zing in the lighter roasts and rich warmer flavours as it gets darker. Another excellent Burundi find.
Ethiopia Sidamo Ardi Naturals

These sun dried Sidamo Ardi Naturals smell amazing as a green bean and that adds to the excitement of roasting them. Roasted to CS7 or CS8 they explode with red berry flavours and smell like you just tore a blueberry muffin open. Take them a little darker into CS9 and the body leaps up and the cocoa aromatics start.
Another stunning East African coffee.
ROBUSTA Mexico Union Juarez

Mexico Union Juarez is clean and well processed ROBUSTA coffee, small evenly graded beans but like many robusta beans it has a range of colours in the green bean. It's Perfect in small percentages (10%-20%) to make your coffee blend stand-up in even the tallest milk drinks.
For best results, roast this Robusta separate and longer than you would an Arabica as it develops in the roaster at a different rate.
Rwanda Nyungwe A

Rwanda Nyungwe A is a high altitude coffee grown in high rainfall area. Good sized beans, super clean washing and very well sorted. Really easy to roast this and it's a true cocoa bomb roasted to early CS10 on a long slow profile. Big bold coffee flavours pull this through tall milk drinks with ease. Excellent as a single origin, equally useful in a blend to fatten-up a soft coffee.
Of course there are plenty of other great coffees in BeanBay too, so you are sure to find something you love!
...the required fine print...
(with the exception of the 1kg Maui and the 2kg Elephant Monsoon) All BeanBay green beans are packed in 2.5kg zippered cotton bags, perfect for storage for up to 3 years when kept in a cool, dark and dry position. We ship paid orders out from the Snobbery Monday to Thursday and BeanBay will show the available shipping options to your area. Larger orders are typically cheaper to freight per kilogram so we suggest ordering all your requirements at once. We also strongly recommend that you ship to an attended address (eg: work or grandma's house) to avoid delivery delays.
Enjoy!
