Soon... but everyone knows... asking are we there yet won't make it faster.

    Hi all,

Pardon my ignorance but has it been a while since a good Guatemalan has come onto the scene?

Andy, when can we expect to see some on BeanBay?

    Cheers

When a certificate is purchased there is a detailed explanation of how to redeem it (emailed with the certificate number).
Sadly, sometimes the buyer doesn't pass all the information to the recipient.

All sorted with Laj this morning though (yeah, people can even get service on Sunday morning when you use the "contact us" ).

    Thanks for your help fellas.

PS: there is a another couple of contact us links in this post too.
PPS: There is a "redeem gift certificate" button in User Details / My Shipping Details in BeanBay

Sorry Javaphile, I didn't see it as a hyperlink. Lucky Laj now has a plethora of Contact Us links to click on. I suppose I could have Replied With Quote to add a few more
Laj is right though - no info on how to redeem a certificate from what I could see.

Here's the link: Contact Us - CoffeeSnobs

I haven't used a gift certificate but typically you get a code and enter it at the checkout
Thanks for repeating the link in case they didn't see it in my post.

    Dear Mr Flynnaus

Thank you for your reply and the link.

That is, I agree, what usually happens on websites you are able to order product on.

Unless I missed something obvious on BB, and I do not think I have, there is no way to redeem a gift certificate other than manually via the "contact us" page on the main forum, as opposed to the BB webpages, with no instruction that that is so.

All in all far too much of a run around - at least for this poster. I'll leave the buying experience to others, for whom I am sure the reward is in freshly roasted beans promptly delivered to their doorstep. Certainly BB has a loyal following, which must be testament to the quality of the product.

Ah yes, Mr (or Ms) Pet Peeve.

    Thank you for your reply.

I did not see a "contact us' link on the BB web pages, or would have used it, before posting here.

    See below.

But now have worked out that you are talking about the main forum pages, not the BB pages (thanks for that) I have so sent a message to whoever it is that gets them inter alia, cancelling my order. All in all , this firmly falls in the 'all too hard' basket for this novice.

BeanBay Green Bean Release - October 2016
    Available in BeanBay now:

    El Salvador Finca Apaneca

El Salvador Finca Apaneca is located in the west of El Salvador and is regarded as the leading growing area in the whole country. High grown and well processed this washed coffee is easy to roast. It produces a beautiful stone-fruit brightness in the lighter roasts and smells amazing off the grinder. A great value Central at this price.

    Ethiopia Ghimbi

Ethiopia Ghimbi. This dry processed Western Ethiopian has plenty of coffeesnobs fans who jump on it every year that we land some. Motley colours during a roast don't stop this bean from having some great earthy and spicy attributes with more than a hint of coffee cherry fruits. Great body at a CS9 roast depth and it works well as a unique single origin coffee or you use it to add some interest to a blend.

    ...the required fine print...
(with the exception of the 1kg Panama and the 2kg Elephant Monsoon) All BeanBay green beans are packed in 2.5kg zippered cotton bags, perfect for storage for up to 3 years when kept in a cool, dark and dry position. We ship paid orders out from the Snobbery Monday to Thursday and BeanBay will show the available shipping options to your area. Larger orders are typically cheaper to freight per kilogram so we suggest ordering all your requirements at once. We also strongly recommend that you ship to an attended address (eg: work or grandma's house) to avoid delivery delays.

    Enjoy!

    Andy.
