That one looks to be set up more like some of the early volumetric Rancilios, with a separate control box for each group, which appear to have potentiometers accessed through the holes in the tops of the boxes to adjust the dose volumes, rather than programming via the touchpad buttons. The only difference is the Rancilio setup usually has just 2 potentiometers per box for the single doses, and the double doses are done by the box using the equivalent single dose setting then 'repeating' it.
Same set up as the single group that I refurbished with the Gicar control box mounted at the back of the frame near the pump motor. Boema told me that my machine was probably made around 1999-2000.

Great project for someone and I would grab it if I was closer.

Boema - Free - Needs work but it's red. Canberra

I picked this up as a project a month ago and now can't be bothered with it and hoping it may be useful to someone otherwise the tip calls.
Chassis has plenty of surface rust, body looks OK, needs a wax & polish, S/S of course needs polishing.
Unsure about internals. They are dirty.
I did manage to get a luke warm coffee out of it a month ago but thats the only time I've plugged it in.
One of the groups was leaking, wands seemed to pump OK but not hot enough.
Anyhow, it's red, it's free and pickup is Canberra.
