google world latte art championships. It will take you to the official SCAE WLAC website. Rules are available under "competition".

Dont expect the rules to be in "black and white" like barista comp...even though there are some grey areas in barista comp rules....but latte art rules are even more convoluted.

Question from the uninitiated... where do I find out the guidelines/what to do for the comp (besides the pre-requisite promo stuff on the application form)? Particularly interested in latte art.

Not that I am aware, there is not a strong coffee culture out here at the moment. I am trying but it is going to take a while.

There wont be any regional comps this year so if you would like to have a go at the nationals, you will have to compete in Qld at the opens. Are there many baristas in Wagga that you know of that are interested in competing in any of the comps?

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to put the feelers out to see if there are any people interested in competing in this years NSW Championships; Barista, Latte Art, Cupping & Coffee in Good Spirits. The competition will be on Jan 10 (and 11 if high numbers) so if you are even remotely considering it, please send me an email or post here with mention of the category you are interested in entering. In doing so you arent committing to anything but just letting us know there are a few out there who are interested in competing.
