Re: Aroma Coffee Festival - The Rocks, Sydney 2005
It was great to catchup with JD, Sharkboy, Fresh_Coffee, Pinot, AJzCafe and 2muchcoffeeman. Also great to meet n greet so many other people on the day that I forget half their names.
Sydney really turned on the weather for the day and I think I even have a touch of sunburn.
Ill post some more pictures after I fly home.
Andy.

Yeah, great to see you too JD. Its was a great day out and aybe we could have a real CS get together next year. It would be great if we could get some power somewhere and do a few roasting demos too.
(its much easier doing than telling) ;D

Hey Andy, nice to see you out there today pounding the sidewalk. I was amused by peoples reaction to the idea that you could actually roast your own beans. Perhaps next year we could organise a CS (Sydney) get together at the Festival. Just out of interest... how many other CS (Sydney) people were out there today?

Aroma Coffee Festival - The Rocks, Sydney 2005
WELCOME TO COFFEESNOBS [smiley=beer.gif]
We are a group of guys and gals who are passionate about our coffee. One of the first steps to becoming a coffee snob is to source some of the world’s best beans and roast them ourselves.
You can roast in a pan, in an oven, in a $20 pop-corn maker, in a BBQ, with a $20 heat-gun or you could be like some of the inventive members that have made and adapted their own equipment.
Have a wander around the forum, you will find plenty of posts about home roasting techniques and within no time you will be roasting the best coffee you have ever tasted. If you get stuck at anytime post a question to the forum and one of the experienced members will be happy to point you in the right direction.
Enjoy,
Andy.
