Re: Melb Cafe Day Nov- the bean alliance roaster t

St. Ali is a great place, Mark and his team are very passionate about the quality in the cup and the food is fantastic. (I can recommend the lamb kofta with nuts).

The 5kg computer controlled roaster is feed with a huge range of high grade beans in the search for the perfect result and the cafe is a CoffeeSnobs heaven.

St Ali has become a "must see" on a coffee tour of Melbourne or if you are local to South Melbourne then it would be a daily visit for sure.

Thanks to Mark for his hospitality and Im sure CSrs will be working with him on future projects and events.

WOW what a great day out that was today.<snip>
A fascinating tour and a page of caffeine-fuelled page of banter from me wont describe the just how good and lucky an experience this was.  They even came-in and opened-up on a non-work day for our tour!

Sincere thanks to Angelo, Enzo and Vin at the bean alliance for letting us into the inner sanctum and secret corridors of such a clean and well thought-out production facility.<snip>
Glad you enjoyed it guys! It was my second full tour through and the plant blows my socks off every time  . In my mind are the incredible quality control and the fact that its soooooo spotless!! You could eat off the floor. The management and staff of the BA are passionate about what they do.... and produce outstanding product....

Im proud to serve their product in our cafes...  8-)

Just wanted to add my thanks to Chris, Ang, Vince, Enzo, Andy and anyone else who helped make the tour a reality. It was fascinating to see a commercial operation in action and I doubt you would see a cleaner factory.

Certainly very impressive. All the guys at BA were so generous with their time, knowledge etc.

          It was a real blast.

          Thanks again! 8-)

My thanks too to everyone, chris, andy, friendly people at BA, who made the tour an experience. it is without a doubt a real eye-opener, a great experience that every coffee snob/geek should do at least once in their life.
