TG, I know a nice route from Campos, down Missenden road, through Sydney Uni and out at the corner of Broadway & City Road. Cuts out a lot of the distance and has lots of nice trees, a park, sandstone buildings and if were lucky we might see fairy wrens on the way through the Uni.

Yeah, but is there a good coffee shop between Campos and Tobys?

        Hiya Kwax and welcome!

          Exactly.
3 minutes walking from Cordial to Campos indeed.
Maybe Scoota can give me a dink.

                  Hey there Coffeechaser,

Im probably getting ahead of myself here and youre probably thinking the same thing...

But would you care to finalise this for us? By that I mean, time and first place you are planning on visiting and then the next place. Please include addresses of each cafe if you can!

I have your mobile number so if Im delayed or anything, I can send you a text. At this stage Im personally aiming to get to up to Sydney by 8.30am. It seems a reasonable time frame for where Im coming from.

                  Cheers.

Re: Who is keen for a Sydney Coffee Crawl?

Well I plan to be at Cordial at 8am for breakfast (Level Ground, Shop G8, 130 Carillon Ave, Newtown), next stop would be Campos (193 Missenden Rd, Newtown), than next Tobys Estate at Chippendale (32-36 City Road, Chippendale). I would expect Mecca would be the place to finish off and depending on timeframe there are plenty of other options, Single Origin or I know 2mcm has recommended Elixir at the Strand before.

Hazchem was going to see if Cordial will work for breakfast and if we need to book a table if it is possible. If we can book a table it would work out best if everyone who is planning to be at Cordial at 8am (or 8:30 for Scoots) could PM me so I know how many to book for if we can book (I will count you in Scoot). Sound fair to everyone?

Brett, still keen to talk to Cordial and see if we need to set aside a table - I just need numbers!

Count me in as 2 people, KT will be joining us for breakfast.

Well so far there are five definates for the 8am (or near to it) start at Newtown. I have received no PMs so if others are coming for then hopefully we can confirm it tomorrow so we can book a table if possible. Otherwise the five of us will enjoy it I am sure.

Maybe you all should re-arrange the schedule and meet up at a Mascot to welcome Dennis at the airport.

                            Just a thought.

I dont think airport coffee will make the grade on this coffee crawl Robusto Not Sydney airport anyway.

Oh please! On the fortune Ive made on those cups Ive hired a private jet, followed by a heli ride, and police are closing off roads for me...makes the APEC summit seem insignificant.
