Re: Sydney Coffee Crawl - December 15 2007
Fair enough. I guess Ive been there a lot, and have been there on days when its been pretty quiet. In those cases, when the baristas arent flat out, theyve always been happy to chat with me. Otherwise, when its been busy, theyre definately heads down working at the machine.
Once I had to make coffees for a party my wife was running - a tupperware party thing. Trying to make 10 lattes, even with a hx machine was full on work, so Ive got a lot of respect for baristi that can crank out good coffees, time after time, but I also recognise that occassionally the extraction might look right, but somethings just off, maybe a stinker bean, maybe operator error, maybe in need of a clean. I realise that there are a lot of commas in that sentence.
Ive found that the really good thing about campos is the consistency of the milk drinks.
