number 30... all depends on your sense of humour... personally I dont see Andy spending 5 grand on anything that ends up - with a remote chance - that says "great nobs on board" hahah.
as for the back, Andys going to short list what he likes.... Ive done 30 concepts... if I tried doing all the sides for each... eeeek, Ill wait to see if he likes any first.
A bloke disappears for a few hours when visitors arrived at home and look what happens! I just checked for a full moon as I cannot explain it any other way.
I have to say, my ugly boof is bad enough on the website, I don’t think I know I don’t want it on the van... and whats the big idea unloading my new bus
for $1400? I would charge that just for a ride in Snobmobile.
WEM - We Eat Monkeys
Ta, Ill remember the new rego now.
As for the sliding door... I was waiting to see who could manage a "Mad Comic" effort on the doors.
I came home from hols to find this great thread - some of the designs are very funny and eye-catching too! Congratulations on the van Andy.
Im not too sure about the concept of "whats in your cup today?" as the answer could be anything. Maybe Im a more pushy sort of marketing type, so prefer a slogan like:
"Our coffee - your cup"
ps. In the event of any panel damage, will insurance cover vinyl replacements as opposed to painted artwork?
pss. the comment about my latte art did not go without notice ;D
Well now that the date has been bought forward, I guess my boss is not going to like me too much as the only copy of photoshop I have is at work!!
So here is a quick one - I am surprised nobody has pimped their van yet ;D ;D
The main background photo is not mine, It is from the snobs calandar thread and was by leebroozlee.
This thread is addictive. Dont do photoshop but a few random ideas:
Make the whole side of the van a shiny coffee machine (or part thereof) and have the cup featuring the coffeesnobs logo. Of course the cup is being filled with coffee. Perhaps if the machine is a popular brand you could get them to pay for the signwriting.
In the back window(s)?, make it look like someone has fingerpainted "wash me", but it should read "drink me".
Or as a kind of antiadvertisement that would get attention and works with the "snobs" theme. "Shhh! Dont spill the beans." with the coffeesnobs logo prominently underneath and a waterfall-like* cascading of beans.
Hey Shannon, nice effort making a big white box cool. I can just see me cruising with ABC talkback radio going DOOF DOOF in the dude Ducato.
The day after I bought the van I did drop into a wheel place to see what my options were. The gotcha with a van is the load ratings on the wheels and the rims. The Pirelli’s on it are rated at just over a tonne each and anything that replaced the factory hoops would have to be rated at that or greater to keep my warranty and insurance. So I expect the van will keep the stock wheels for the next couple of years at least.
Welcome to CoffeeSnobs Mr Blonde, I like the idea of getting someone else to pay for it!
Nice ideas too, I’m sure someone will grab them and have a play.
waterfall-like not a real word? I think if more than half of the readers can make sense of it then it just became a word, besides it’s better than some of the words I hammer-out on a keyboard.
While standing in a queue to pay for the competition photos that I printed at Kmart I picked up the latest Herbie movie for the kids out of the bargain bin.
True!
