Re: Look at the little map at the bottom and Wonde
I was playing around with a coulpe a few weeks ago, this one is small, fast and worth a glance.
After our next forum upgrade we will have something else to replace it.

Re: Look at the little map at the bottom and Wonde
Full points to Javaphile, all good answers.
Yes, the "gotcha" is that the number counter only sees proxy servers as a single machine so some of the big ISPs will become a single dot on the map even though 100s of CS might be connected.Probably the number of unique IPs that have connected in the last 24 hours
The average amount of unique connections each day is 3200 which does include the bots.
For the last year we had:
Total Hits 44,236,251
Average Hits per Day 116,411
Average Hits per Visitor 35.51
Page Views
Total Page Views 7,003,706
Average Page Views per Day 18,430
Average Page Views per Visitor 5.62
Visitors
Total Visitors 1,245,775
Average Visitors per Day 3,278
Total Unique IPs 248,039
Still an interesting little picture and we might change it over time for something with a little more detail.

the 1075 I think has been there a lil while.....now that I have posted the number we can referance it. I also wonder about the Magnifying glass and the bar graph.

Re: Look at the little map at the bottom and Wonde
For the most part webcrawlers account for only a single dot per company as the IPs all trace back to the same location for all of a companys bots.Originally posted by Mr Macchiato link=1199879286/0#5 date=1199937371Webcrawlers?Originally posted by ajayro link=1199879286/0#4 date=1199936948I didnt realise we had so many users from the USA and Western Europe. They dont seem to post comments very often, though.

The red dots are users currently online. The black dots are users who have been online in the last 24 hours.
