Hi tall-latte girl and welcome to coffeesnobs!

Id be very surprised if you couldnt find roasted beans at CafeBiz this Sunday, though dont know if those you specifically mentioned will be available.

Many of the sponsors (including us) are specialty coffee roasters offering a wide range of quality products and quick delivery (see the left of the page). Why not take a browse and make your selection from there and you wont have to wait till the weekend to enjoy a cuppa!

      Welcome tlg.
Do tell what machine you have and what grinder.

Seconded about grabbing some fresh beans before the weekend.
What suburbs are you in for home and work so we can recommend someone close.

Can you tell me which bean is the best on this site???

Alternatively I will wait until Sunday and see whats available.

This site cracks me up, thought I was one of few that was addicted to the daily grind.

I bought the EM3800 Sunbeam. Its just a small machine for home. Thought I should just try a cheap one to start with, I have to buy a grinder next.

              Theyre all good!
Seriously, all of the sponsors are committed to coffee of an exceptional standard. I can happily recommend BrownBay, cuppacoffee and DiBartoli. Find out what you like. Theres sooo much to try!

Enjoy the journey (and get a good grinder ASAP, itll improve your coffee exponentially!).

Nope, quoting makes that green box. Reply will reply in the thread. If you want to respond to someone personally, you can click their name, then click send personal message to...

Or less (5 sleeps till Sydney!)

Im flying up Saturday morning and planning on heading to "Wine of the Bean" for brunch or lunch and then working my way back south to Ultimo tafe to checkout the Barista comp.

Then Sunday at CafeBiz (which should be huge this year).

I heard today that Les from coffeeroasters.com.au will have a new toy there to poke at too... Gotta love new toys!

Wooo, looks like im heading up to Sydney for the weekend this week so with all going well im hoping to head on over for a look & hopefully meet a few of you guys.
The event will be FREE to all café owners and their employees.
Its probably here somewhere but whats the cost for a non owner/employee? & what time does it kick off?
Last question(for now...lol) Is anyone meeting up somewhere before going in?

Ill be going in from The Concord/Strathfield direction & have room in the car if anyone would like a lift in... just let me know if thats any help to anyone.
                          Cheers

                            $10 for the public.

Or in a slightly weird move you can buy tickets for $1 plus $3 postage on that large auction site that shall remain unnamed for fear of editorial retribution.
