        Re: 5000th CoffeeSnob contest.

4:30am is very much time for at least one coffee.  Heck you are at work well before the otherside of the country is and we have a 3 hour head start!

My first entry into the comp!

We do a Good Friday fundraiser for the Royal Childrens Hospital each year.  Its a country footy oval and everyone donates "junk" for the charity auction.  The pub shouts a keg of beer and CS do coffee for the 100-200 punters on the day.  Beer, coffee and hot chocolate are swapped for "tickets" that people buy so we dont have to worry about money handling and change.

We did 100+ coffees and at least as many hot chocolates.  Most of the coffee was earlier in the day and most of the hot chocolates were kids spending their parents "beer tickets".

For the first time we offered the orange and the spiced chocolate as an option to milk and dark chocolate... they were all a big hit with the most amount of adult "Aaaahhhhs" muttered over the spiced chocolate.

On the coffee front we sold Espresso Wow! in the cup and had a range of single origin and blends in the 250g packets for sale as whole bean or ground on the spot.

Twas a long but fun day and the Giotto worked like a trooper.  I dont know the overall $ figure but its always pretty high for a small town.

Sorry, I only managed a couple of pics, was busy, busy, busy.

        8-)

            My 2nd Entry

Its a bit primative but it does overlook a busy main road and next to a bus stop, so it should get some exposure.
( This is in my backyard by the way).  I will leave it up for as long as the competition or it breaks. (which ever occurs first)  ;D

Its not the moon, but more people will probably get to see it.

Pullman Espresso Accessories will contribute a tamper to the prize pool, with the choice of a Red Gum, Jarrah or Australian Oak handle to the lucky winner. Any other bits and pieces, e.g. fancy handles, filter baskets and so on, can be optioned on after that as required.

                          OK Entry No.3

At Arena Joondalup we have large indoor courts, I pulled the retractable grandstand out and flipped the chairs up to spell out
                          COFFEE SNOBS.COM.AU

The early morning circuit training cusotmers had a few bewilded looks on their faces but hey, if it gets the message out there who cares.

The Grandstand and letters was up most of the day until we had to retract the grandstand due to netball on the courts. Damn netballers.

Anyway here are the series of photos. I will try to put up the video as well.
