        Made your day?
It really made my day too!

After a pretty lousy month today was spent walking with a spring in my step, lots of smiles and standing taller than I have for a long time.

It might just be a page in a paper to some but it has been a huge injection of spirit to me.

I look forward to seeing where we drive the CoffeeSnob train from here. Rest assured, it will continue to be a fun trip.

Hey I reckon that was one of my bag of beans on the table. ;D

Because it was a cotton bag with our logo on it Goodies?

We have a few of those bags (9500+ of them last count)

FYI, the bags on the table were the Harrar Longberry... quickly scooped into some cotton for the picture so they would be about 3.5kg each at a guess so maybe not yours...but close!

Congrats to all on the article!

Lets hope the site can stay afloat if we get an influx of hits

Otherwise this will be an 80 hour week for poor Andy!

                Cheers

ahhh yes... the 60 hours in the article was website and Snobbery (which is where I am now)... a total of coffee time in a week if you like but it lost something in the translation.

80 hours?  Sure I can do it!  "another doppio coming up".
although I might have to taper the I.T. off a little to get 80 to fit.

“It’s not about when or where the coffee was roasted, but how.”
                    Did they really say that??
Is that their attitude? Anything to try and justify selling beans that are stale / old / tired by the time they hit the grinder.
Sums up what I have believed for a while about many coffee shops that sell beans that were roasted then imported.
With my Breville 800ES (modified basket) and some freshly roasted beans I can make a nicer coffee than anything you can buy around here.
Now I have my Domobar and things are taking a quantum leap forward. Serious!
                    Buying roasted coffee? NO THANKS!

Andy, a great article. Well done & keep up the good work!

It also mentions how long the company has been around and asks something along the lines of how many local roasters will still be around in 2121!
They may boast that theyve been around since the late 19th century - some examples of this coffee Ive had over the years taste as though it dates back to then too! :P
