A great supporter of coffee events all over the world. It more than just business for this bloke, its a genuine passion for the industry.

      (left to right)

Site Sponsor Les from Coffee Roasters Australia watches over Will as he does roast in the solar 2kg roaster. Jimmy reads Innys manual to make sure they are doing it right...

Bruno (C4 coffee) stops making Latte because the lure of roaster smoke distracted him. Day dreaming, he thinks loud enough for everyone to hear "Ahhh, this is what a demo area should smell like"

Jimmy gets to the end of Innys book and smoke is still coming from this roast. The upside is that this copy of Espresso Quest not only looks and reads great but now also smells authentic!

It was a great day out for the AASCA Roasters Guild of Victoria lots of industry people came to the show for a look and to support it but more importantly the show going public got to smell, touch, hear, see and taste coffee and left knowing something they didnt know previously.

Huge shout-outs to the sponsors that make this happen, the roasters for their work, for Bruno (C4 coffee) and Ross (Jasper Coffee) for their HUGE amount of effort to make this come together and the helpers (Linda was there from early in the day to near stumps!) and competitors that made it a fun day for all.

I hope the AASCA crews in the other states can get their shows up and going so more people around Oz can join in the fun.

Just a small note from me.

First off Congrats again Tom! Best of luck for the heats in Brisbane!

Toshi and Luca, well done aswell...Luca, it was great catching up with you and spending some more time with you when you are NOT making coffee!

I want to thank Ross Quail for supplying a wonderful lunch, and allowing me to help behind the scenes with everything and anything. And for letting me have a go at my first "cupping"...It was so much fun, and I enjoyed it immensely....(even if I dont drink black coffee!!  [smiley=laugh.gif])

Andy. A big big thank you for letting me work beside you, there were times I felt that I should have been doing more, but when I could help you it was the best fun! I came away from the show with some better knowledge of the industry.

                  -Linda

It was a great day to catch up with some old friends and meet some new. Thanks everyone for the comments and I am now looking forward to competing in the nationals. Plenty of cupping ahead. Cheers to all the competitors, the guild, AASCA and ARC for putting this comp on. Cant wait to roast some of the loot.

Also a shout out to all the volunteers as well!
