Andy, if unable to make the book launch, ie, live outside of Melbourne, how do we get our hands on the book prior to Christmas?

Launch is a funny term for the event, given that the book has been available for quite some time. You can buy the book from a number of sources, including from CS itself - go into beanbay and click on other stuff.

Im looking forward to the launch; should be heaps of fun. Instaurator rates the monkey parchment coffee ridiculously highly and has bought quite a lot of it. Hopefully he will be releasing it to the market soon.

        Cheers,

        Luca

Re: Espresso Quest - Book Launch in Melbourne

...yes, except it comes out the other end.

              It goes something like....
The monkeys select only the ripe cherry and hold it in their cheeks until their mouth is full.  The then return "home" to eat the fruit and drop the beans on the ground.

Someone collects the beans from the base of the trees and then it is washed, roasted, sold.

Monkey spit coffee seems a whole lot more palateable than Civit poo coffee.

If there is enough interest in Monkey Parchment coffee then we might even see if we can get some to sell in BeanBay.

Yeah it was a great night, Liar Liar is a great venue and well worth a visit.

Mick Keeley was was banging out monkey parchment coffees all night and a few Kopi Luwak shots on the Robur / Giotto combo.

Nolan was making more "traditional" coffees for those not keen for "critter coffee".

                          Well worth the trip,
