I think the bump-in will be fine, I can get the van onsite so that will make it far easier. Ill be there pretty early but I expect that around 9am we start to get lots of people around even though the scheduled start is 10am.

Playing in Melbourne but staying in Northcote with a mate of mine so I will try and get in a bit before 9. I had visions of needing to shift a few bags of beans but if you can get to site makes it easier.

Bit of a shame I am not around for Tuesday there is a Microbrewing expo on at fed square as well

The schedule for the Home Barista Comp has been sent out.
Heat 1 - 7 participants
12pm - 1pm

Heat 2 - 7 participants
1:45pm - 2:45pm

7 per session seems odd (literally), but perhaps there will be some extra competitors on the day which they can slot in.

I would love to be there next Sunday but alas its not to be. I was in Melbourne last weekend for Moomba and had an amazing 4 days, visited all the top cafes and drank mega amounts of great coffee, cupped at BBB and met Luca. Back home now, will check out posts on the event as it happens, have a great time CSers ;D :

I was in Melbourne last weekend for Moomba

Pity I didnt see you at the Birdman Rally... that was fun to watch, way too short though. Glad you had fun Greenman, you got nice weather too.

BTW Andy are you still ok to look after Xander?

Of course! We will get him roasting on a popper to start with and by the end of the day he will be knocking back double shots and roasting on a Hottop. We might even find him a free puppy to take home.

The challenge is, not to drink coffee at home so I can drink more later in the day!
