Congratulations to all associated with BeanScene mag. Great August mag. Fabulous articles. Cant wait to hit Di Bella again in Melbourne on Sept. 4th. after reading the mag. Can put names to faces now. Loving the mag as usual. Page 39 of the mag. Snobbers. What is in store in Melbourne in June 2010? Talk about whetting the appetites. WOW!!!! I have just been on the website of the BeanScene mag and looked at the info on the coffee experience melbourne-june 2010. Coffee Heaven is coming to earth. The Good Food and Wine Show never looked (or smelt) :-* so inviting. ;D

Luckily for me i guess, that i still have the previous issue to flick through (after it didnt make the letterbox last attempt)

One thing i have noted from that issue is that a little more research should be done by the experts prior to lodging their work.
The flavour compound and colour changing process when beans (and other food products, including malted barley.. ) are roasted is known as the "maillard" reaction... not a "Millard" reaction.

I just popped into my local newsagent, and while I was there spotted a copy of the August magazine, so thought I would buy it so I could decide whether to subscribe. Is it wrong for me to be very amused when the newsagent gave me a couple of free Nestle Cappuccino sachets with it?
