the article step back in time has shown me a world i had absolutely no idea about, the article is so interesting to me, and the machines/works of art shown are simply breathtaking! and to think of those petrol stations that featured the fiesta/sputnik!!

The Joe Behm story came up good, I love stories of "inventor sticks to it through thick n thin to get an idea to market".It was a long journey for him and I know 1000s of home roasters are happy he made it happen.
It was the first article i read when i opened the magazine (i had an aversion to CoffeeSnobs corner this month, for some reason ) and i really enjoyed it.
A well written piece that give us Behmor users a nice history of the machine that brings us so much joy.

The collection of vintage machines by Daniel Paolo on show recently was amazing. It was not widely promoted but I know he has plans to exhibit the collection again next year. A majority of the machines have been lovingly restored to working order and I was lucky enough to have a few shots of espresso from them on the day.
We had read up on and talked about the Italian collection of Enrico Maltoni but to have a collection of this size and quality in Australia was a real treat. The fact that several of the machines were designed and manufactured in Australia also was a bonus. If you are interested in learning more you may want to get a copy of the book "Journey of Melbourne Coffee Pioneers", see pg 12 of Dec BeanScene. Or go to their website espressomachineclassics.com I also have many more great photos of the collection that perhaps I should put on our website in the new year.

Mine arrived today too. Read backwards like a chinese book and was engrossed in Simons and Ristroms story.
Ill also bring mine along to next pick up. Simon, youre going to be a busy man on that Saturday in January ;D
I can take over your coretto demos if you like

Really enjoyed Scottie Callaghans adventure to coffee origin and its raw processes.

For me, the biggest eye opener in this issue was Joe Behms trials and tribulations and the never give up attitude to finally come up with the roaster the world wants. Looks like more improvements are in the pipeline.

Most engrossing issue so far Murf.

Now im off to try make Madelyn Smiths elephant art. Looks like a challenge.

Have re-read and absorbed the intrigueing articles in this issue.
Got a question about Coffeesnobs Corner.

How are candidates for the corner selected, and on what basis?

To all those who were chosen. Congrats, and great to read of your coffee journey
