(Apparently there were some issues at the printers due to the extreme temperatures in Melbourne and the heat glue binding that is holding up/slowing down production)

Yep, I think that that was it. The magazines are "perfect bound," like books such as Scott Raos Professional Baristas handbook, rather than being stapled. They only had about a hundred mags on the weekend. I didnt get to read them, but skimmed over it and it looked good - I will anxiously wait and see what the content is like!

BeanScene deserve some kudos for printing some last-minute items for AASCA. First up, I know that they did the event programs at the last minute and they also printed some nifty stickers for the back of the clipboards that were handed out to the judges. This meant that when the cameras were on us, the crowd saw the AASCA logo. Clever.

It was certainly my pleasure to help out Instaurator, Ben and all of AASCA with the printing of the programs and the nifty stickers.
Yes it was a last minute request but we did our best and were VERY happy with the results, as I hope were AASCA
It was great to be an integral part of it all and I must agree with Phil DiBella, SPECIALTY COFFEE WAS THE WINNER!!!!!!
