So no design from me but a comment. Please keep it simple. One colour on a background.
I dont know about anyone else but I do tend to read what is on my cup if I am sitting there enjoying my coffee and staring off into the wild younder. so much so I noticed a little website under the cup that was the manafactur of the cup and I had to get a magnifying glass to read it.
So there you go.

Congrats on bringing home the woodwork.I just hope customs let it through!

I like your roast triangle pic in the other thread Andy, maybe that one side(if its not too many colours) and the coffee snobs logo the other side. My computer skills limit the ability to produce a sample. Just an idea.

Just an idea for the design. The dark green is from the CS website.

Sorry the graphics are poor quality.

I really liked the design in this post, it is everything you guys were talking about at the start: Simple, elegent, individual. Only difference I would make is to use that off white recycled cardboard, which I suppose would mean black or grey text at the top, so thats two changes, but still... I think this design covers everything you want.

Why not copy the design you use for the green beans but use roasted beans?

If you wanted to get fancy you could have that pic as the front and back of the fold and a tagline or information on the sides. I love the "it takes more than an instant to satisfy a CoffeeSnob." But the logo and "our name says it all" tag would work and build the brand.

The cotton/recycled/parchment look of the background makes it look better than a standard colour. It feels more organic or something. CoffeeSnobs doesnt need a fancy font (I wouldnt be changing it anyway its now established as others have said) or intricate detailed design as I think it would miss the purpose of the brand.

Something about faircrack could be good to. It really is a point of difference and adds so much to the brand and context of your ambitions. Maybe something about how the sale of this cup has contributed x amount and what the money is used for?

You dont want it to look too busy though. So perhaps the pic on the front and back, a logo on one side and some fair crack info on the other? May be a task to squeeze it in. But I think small text can be really good, it actually catches the eye. I for one end up reading it.

A wrap around image showing the lifeline of coffee or some variation of below...

You could have something like this as a background with the coffeesnobs logo and web address on the cup.

Im coming in late too!
Here are a few quick designs thrown together tonight, now they may seem very simple (and they are!) but I believe simple colours and designs work better than extravagant things that people cant remember.

Ill keep playing around and see what else I come up with.

I really do think simple is better with something like this.
thats the attraction of Wambesis design. as it lets the customer know who you are, but really when it comes to it, the coffees gotta do the talking right?

Some very talented people and some really brilliant designs, really loved the colour of shaunsheeps make for a great business card or promotional poster maybe much for a coffee cup.
I have no idea how to make a design on the format, so comment only, really love the beans on white background only concern is white cups get dirty and a dirty cup doesnt bode well for presentation.
wambesi has my vote with either cup02 or cup03 love the simplicity yet has elegance, maybe silver logo on black?

I cant think of any reason your cups should ever get dirty before you serve them, We use white cups at work and theyre great.
