    Andy,

Any more word on whether we are allowed to park at Gate 5 at all?

The word on the CafeBiz website is that the parking is at Flemington Racecourse.

    -Linda

(Im getting different versions from different people so Ill find out in person on Friday when I go up)

At the moment we expect tickets will be picked-up on the day but if logistics make more sense to freight them then we will do that at least a week before the event.
    8-)
Is it still the case that we pick up the  tickets at the  door?
I managed to get a second round offer so am not certain of the arrangements.

Whoops  just noticed this in the invoice
    Name Quantity Total Item Price
    † Beanology 1 $50.00
Shipping: RASV Building, Royal Melbourne Show Grounds Saturday, 21 May 2011 $0.00
    Total $50.00

So it seems  pickup  at the RASV  Building is the  go

I thought I saw it somewhere but cant find it now, so my question is....

Whats the difference between the Saturday and Sunday Beanology sessions?

goes and looks one last time before posting

    Found it http://www.beanology.coffeesnobs.com.au/

Sunday is "**follow on from Saturday, more advanced topics**"

Noticed no lunch stop in the programme, should I bring sandwiches? ;D
just took a look at the program, wish i was going to be there! what a great time it will be

I was planning on going to this on Sunday, but just realised that Sunday is trade only according to the cafebiz website. Will I be able to get in at all?

Edit: I registered at the website and it said I just need to exchange the confirmation email for an entry badge, hopefully nobody will enquire too closely what my business actually is.

Andy you have made a kind offer re the parking. We are very happy to pay the money. You do not need the extra task of having to try to get money back.
Minimal cost to parking in the CBD for a day.

I could have it wrong too.

Its the gotcha with a first time event at a new venue, all the little things are tricky to get answers for.

For those Beanology attendees Ill shout the carparking if someone tries to charge you (and then Ill try and get it back from the show grounds!).
    8-)

For those only attending Cafebiz Ill try and findout more info but you might just have to cop the $5 or try and find off street parking.

The Cafe Biz site information for the event at the Melbourne Showground in May for parking states:
" limited parking $5 per car via gate 7 Leonard Crescent".
We have a 4 and half hour trip to the event and would like to know about street parking as we know we will miss out on this parking.  Street parking Saturday and  Sunday ?  Where? Hourly limits?  etc.
Not really wanting to boost Victoria coffers.
    Thanks .
I believe there is parking inside of the gate. This is from Andy:

The venue is the RASV building at the Royal Melbourne Show Grounds.  I expect that we will be using gate 5 (off Langs road) to enter the on-site car parking but I’ll confirm specific details in another email closer to the event.
