    is there any parking
There will be plenty of free parking inside the showgrounds. Details like which gate to enter will be posted closer to the event when we get the information (gate numbers etc) from the RASV.

Any of you interstate boys and girls need a lift and are staying in the Northern / Western suburbs let me know.

I will be coming in from the Melbourne Airport area both days and have plenty of room in the car.
Nice one Barrel. Im sure that will help someone.

if there is a limit on ticket numbers?
Tickets for Beanology are limited. There is a finite amount of space and we want to keep it a small a friendly sized group so everyone gets great value.

does the overhead charge cover us at the front gate?
Yep. The Beanology pass will let you wander in and out of the CafeBiz trade exhibitions, view the competition area and importantly, give you access to the Beanology sessions.

This does sound like a great weekend!

Steps required for trip to Victoria.

Step 1. Convince work that I should have the weekend off.
Step 2. Convince wife that this will be good for our marriage and my long term sanity  ;D
Step 3. Convince myself that having my wife running loose in Melbourne with a credit card is worth a weekend of Beanology!

Fingers crossed my simple 3 step plan pays off. Was also just wondering if there is a limit on ticket numbers? And does the overhead charge cover us at the front gate? Not that 10 Bucks will stop me.

Thanks for that. Google Maps shows some parking, but it is a bit hard to judge just how much there really is. I guessed that "showgrounds" implied a lot of parks, but you never know....

    Cheers

Hey Andy - small and possibly insignificant question: is there any parking at or near the venue?
There is a heap of parking beside the showgrounds at Flemington racecourse Kevin. Plenty of parking as well in the local area, so you will have no problems whatsoever.

Some of us will be staying in non-public transport serviced accommodation and will probably need to drive to the actual site. Any info for us non-Melbournians gratefully accepted :

Awesome to see a crew building from SA too.

We will have plenty of great coffee for everyone and a few surprises in the works. Roll on the end of May!

Most places are a longish drive from Adelaide and whilst its nice to be away, its even nicer to get back!

Melbourne in may.. It does have a nice ring to it.

Although I am saving for Rocket Giotto Evo at the moment.. Maybe I will have to miss this one. See what the situation is at work at that time I have been thinking that I want to go to Melbourne for a bit of a holiday again before I start uni again..

Either way Im sure itll be a great event and an awesome experience for anyone who gets to attend.
