Re: The Australian Coffee Festival & Cafe Biz 2011 - Melbourne

If anyone is still wanting a ticket for Beanology, I am not able to attend this weekend so have a ticket available for $10000, oh OK, the $50 I paid then (with Andys blessing of doing this).

First to let me know owns it.

BTW- I would change my mood to a suitable statement but there is nothing to describe my Disappointment.  >

Despite my best efforts and all my rebuilt equipment, I doubt I will ever roast, grind and brew myself a great coffee  :-/

Well the Beanology area looks great!

I got out of there at about 9pm (twas only me and the security guards onsite by then), drove back to the Snobbery and have just got home.

Ill be there super early tomorrow at 7am as I have to meet a delivery so if you get there early come and make me a coffee.

Car parking? I still dont really know, seems that gate 4 tomorrow will be open from 9am, before that it will be gate 5 and at 7am I think I have to page security to let me in. There will be plenty of onsite parking so I guess we will all wing it in the morning.

CoffeeSnobs Beanology is upstairs in the RASV building (via the internal stairs or lift), Cafe Biz is down stairs.

Wear your summer clothes, seems the heaters upstairs are tuned by a Queenslander ;D

It should be a great couple of days, Ill try and take plenty of pictures to share with those not able to make it and will try and hand the camera off to others to do the same.

            8-)

Thanks for a great weekend Andy. I cant possibly see how you have not lost money putting the weekend together.

The goodies in the show bags alone cover the cost of admission, not the mention the sandwiches and COE coffee provided.

It was a great weekend of learning and sharing info with snobbers from all over the country, thanks for the opportunity.

Back home, very little voice left and very tired.

What a terrific event- and a roaring success in my opinion. The numbers of CSers and industry people were excellent all weekend and Id be surprised if I didnt speak with well over 100 people today alone.

CafeBiz has received the much needed shot in the arm and I wouldnt be surprised to see it become a Melbourne event.

Those who jumped early and grabbed tickets to Beanology received an absolute bargain which would have been very fairly priced at many hundreds of bucks per seat. I popped in a couple of times and was blown away by the depth of knowledge so freely shared by expert presenters.

A massive [smiley=thumbsup.gif] to you Andy in recognition of hundreds of hours of planning to help make the whole weekend so successful. Its time to hug your family and then grab an island holiday far removed from phones and the net asap. You deserve one!
