Great weekend in Melbourne (not only the coffee expo and WBC but it was also Good Beer Week!). Good to catch up with Andy and all the other CS / industry folk.

Congrats to Pete Licata (USA) on taking out the WBC and to Matt Perger for his 2nd place. I thought Matt's 15 min performance was amazing, Pete must've produced some brilliant coffee to beat him.

Peppino, I got to run around with the camera on one of the trade days and when I get home I will hopefully put some up here on CS.

I was unable to attend the MICE 2013 due to work commitments. Are there any pics on the net from the various coffee stands from the day?

    Hi Guys,

I've been pretty jammed at work for a while and, so, haven't had much time to get involved. That said, I'm on the way now for the HR61 thing and please do say hi if you see me around. I'm wearing my green world brewers cup 2011 tshirt.

Hope everyone has a great day!

    Luca

Andy great to meet you, Craig and Joseph today at MICE. I have done my first roast on the new AUTOGRAPHED EDITION Behmor - and the results looks pretty good to me! I might even post some pics one day when I'm allowed . Thanks again for the advice. No doubt you'll be sending more green beans my way. Daniel

    Andy!

I will be there Thurs thru Sat. I will have my yellow Coffeesnobs lanyard on. And likely carrying a rather large camera.
And yes Andy I will again be dropping in from time to time with an espresso for you if I can swing it.

    See you all soon!

    Adam.

    Great new products.
    Meet the inventors!

On the CoffeeSnobs stand at the Melbourne International Coffee Expo you will have the chance to meet:

    Joseph Behm
    BEHMOR Inc - USA
The inventor of the Behmor 1600 roaster and the Brazen Brewer.
See the award winning 240v Brazen brewer for the first time in public and see the Behmor 1600 roaster in action.

    Jakob Forssling
    INNOFORS ApS - Denmark
The co-inventor of Kaffee Filter, Plunger Coffee Filters.
See live demos of the Plunger Coffee Filters in use on the CoffeeSnobs stand.
This simple device greatly improves the body and flavours of a plunger coffee by allowing a finer grind and it also makes cleaning up simpler.

These two gentlemen have travelled all the way from the USA and Denmark to be on the stand so be sure to come and ask them any product questions you have over the 4 days of the expo.

Craig and I will be on the stand doing demos and answering questions about roasting, coffeesnobs, advertising, beans and machines. If we can't help I'm sure we know someone who can.

I look forward to see lots of CS'rs over the 4 days, come and say g'day.

The expo runs 10am - 6pm Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
    See: www.internationalcoffeeexpo.com

Good luck to all the international competition competitors, my your best ever performance happen on the day.
It's going to be an amazing coffee week,

    Enjoy!
