Yes the comps it will be part of an even bigger MICE 2013.

The world champs are normally around June, certainly not the best weather time of year in Melbourne so it will be interesting to see if they move that around for the tourist influx.

hopefully it will coincide with MICE or the coffee expo that was at the showgrounds last year (cant remember the name)

The 2013 World Barista Championship and the 2013 World Brewers Cup will be held in Melbourne Australia.

After the World Coffee Event staff saw the Australian National event at MICE in May they knew that Australia could host the next world event.

Its an exciting chapter in Australias short but rich coffee history and Im sure there will be plenty of CoffeeSnobs members that make the trip to join in the fun.

We will update this thread with dates, times and information as it comes to hand.
