Congrats on your success in the competition Attilio, that's great news.
How do CS'rs go about getting the Cosmorex Coffee Premium Special Blend?
Thanks for the kind words Andy. CS'rs can enquire about our Premium Blend (and all our other coffees / including some with medals won in other comps) by sending an email through to contact@cosmorexcoffee.com.au. They will be looked after !
Congratulations Andy. Great picture on the Cafe Culture results of you and your awards. Very much deserved for your hardwork. Well done to Zed also ( and your fantastic hard working and supportive family). Congratulations to all Coffeesnobs who took out awards. A huge thank you Andy from we Coffeesnobs for inspiring us to follow and enjoy this great passion. (Addictive)
Got my ugly mug in the local paper today and three generations of the Freeman tribe got a mention including roast-star Zed.

Feel free to jump on the Geelong Advertiser website and leave a comment, it's great promotion for micro sized business.
The full list of medal winners has just been released.
Well done to all the CoffeeSnobs that entered the home roasting category and huge congrats to those that scored high enough to medal.
Cafe Culture will be sending the medals late next week and will also provide the judges feedback then too.
Woo-hoo, I got a silver medal. Bragging rights. Have to go one better next year.
Bragging rights for sure, well done!
Remember these were judged by industry professionals who live, eat breate coffee and for your roasts to rate with them is kudos to your technique and components.
I really see this as a great thing to put on your coffee CV too, it would have to rate highly to anyone in the industry that was looking for a new employee and shows that you have a real interest and passion for great coffee. I think CS is the perfect breeding ground for future generations of coffee roasters.
Entered the comp as part of the camaraderie and never expected to get a mention.
Congrats to those who made the list, and a worthy mention to all who took part and gave it their best shot.
Commanda, well done on your what...Bull Elephant blend? Interesting name.
If you spill your beans in a few words regarding your type of roaster, beans, technique, profile , how you named your blend etc for all to see, as per your recommendation, and I'll spill mine. Ladies first.
Can't recall exactly what I put in those blends, I've been trying to find where I wrote them down. (Ha ha, organisation is not my strong suit.)
They were both the same blends (he he), I was using available beans I had (from BeanBay of course). Corretto roasted, blended post roast, base bean PNG Wahgi (40% I think), Mexican and El Salvador (each about 17.5%), 15% Yirgacheffe and 10% Yemen (the end of my Yemen, boo hoo). I was going to use Columbian instead of the 2 Central Americans but I was struggling getting good results from it. Anyway, I tried to get a coffee that would work both as espresso and in milk, I suppose it worked.
Big congrats to Habib and Zed. (Damn, Andy. That apple hasn't fallen far from the tree! ) And thanks for your organising and encouragement, Andy.
