Nice work Greg. Getting a coffee that works as an espresso and in milk is pretty tricky, to score two silver medals for it is awesome.
Looking at the components I would expect a fair amount of acidity which will usually work well in milk and as an espresso would have a zing... and then a yemen linger. mmmm yemen.
A couple of things I meant to say the other day too...
I didnt judge any of the CS categories. I was happy to keep a distance from the process but would have loved to try them.
Congrats to those that entered but didnt make the medal board too, at least you gave it a shot (yep, bad pun). Don't be discouraged by your first attempt, instead work on your blends and process for next year, maybe even consider sending / swapping beans with another CS'r for review or roasting ideas?!?!?
