Speaking of commercial competitions.... are you going to the WA Barista championship Sat/Sun at the Town Hall.... from 10 AM both days.

I think Coreys baristi are entered - Im going to at least drop in and check it out.

Hmm...now if we can get a hold of the Sydney Royal Easter Show too... :P

There are opportunities for commercial roasters to compete in having their coffee judged but few opportunities for us home roasters. I have asked the Perth Royal Show if they can allocate a category for home coffee roasting, or failing that identify an appropriate existing category.

Ill update this thread if I hear back in the positive and Id encourage any Perth roasters to enter.
