Grendel, thank you so much for the organisation of this marvellous afternoon... a genuine eye opener and i dont just mean the caffeine hit from the Ristrettos!

i couldnt wait, and chanced a small ristretto from the AAs this morning, and boy, was that nice.... put it up against a home roast blend of Brazil Yellow Bourbon, PNG PNC "A" and Guatamalan Antigua, and the difference in the depth and width of flavour was huuuuge.

ofcourse, the master roast Jay did on those AA beans would have had a major part to play in the developement of the flavour spectrum, against my inexperienced and pot-luck judge-by-eye Corretto roast.
soooo much to learn....! :-/
