I'll be on the stand when you arrive else I would have offered to grab you from the airport.

Melbourne Airport is a bugger to get out of unless you are driving... State governments have talked about a train for 30 or 40 years but it still doesn't have one.

With any luck another CS'r sees this thread and can give you a lift... or you find a couple of others to split a cap fare.

I can't go to MICE on Saturday.

If you're stranded Sunday, I can take you to the airport on my way home.

We're exhibiting this year and we're at stand 94 (in the walkway between the Grand Pavilion and the Competition area - very close to some guy who runs a coffee forum ). We'll have some of our newest machines on display including the Profitec Pro 700 and Lelit Mara. Drop in and say hi.

Looking forward to seeing lots of CSers there and seeing what else is on display,

              charlie

Welcome to CoffeeSnobs chl15, I'm sure you will have a great time.

The place was a buzz of activity all day as everyone setup. Jetblack Espresso did a great job on their stand next door to us as did Pullman a couple of doors away also in the walkway. I had a quick zig-zag on the way out tonight and ran into plenty of site sponsors busy setting up. Coffee Roasters Australia, Genovese Coffee, Casa Espresso, Veneziano and 9 Bar Espresso are all there, swing by and introduce yourself as a CoffeeSnob member and you just might get a show special too!

Joseph Behm does has better fashion sense than in the picture, fluro safety gear was compulsory today during setup ;-)

Nice picture but I have to say, the Jet Black stand has way more "bling" factor in person.

Ran into lots more site sponsors on day one... Roastmax Roasters, Coffee Machinist, Di Bella, Espresso Company Australia, Espresso Unplugged and lots and lots of CS members from different parts of Australia and a few overseas too. It's always great to put a face to an on-line name.

Everyone I spoke to was having fun, enjoying the show and was excited to be there.

Had a great time yesterday for the day. Went past the CS and JetBlack stands but didn't get a chance to say hi as there were quite a few people around (and I needed to do a quick whiparound while I was there!)

Looking forward to next year's event!

Been a crazy 3 days on the stand, most of the time we have been 3 or 4 people deep.

The new Behmor Plus roaster has been roasting up a storm, I'm having fun playing with the manual controls during the demos too. A P2 auto profile with a switch to manual 25% heat at first crack has been a winning combination for dozens of roasts in a row.

Joseph Behm has been belting out brews on the Brazen Plus using our Harrar Longberry, same grind, same water volume but at two different temperatures... one at 93C one at 96C and the differences are stunning, a real eye-opener for those that are trying it and a great example of what a stable, consistent and accurate electronic pour-over can achieve. Good fun too!

Cafelat gear is going nuts! Seems that every second person grabbed a Tubbie and a silicon Corner Mat. Luckily for us today Paula and the kids were on the stand helping which is great as Joe and I wouldnt have kept-up with the waves of people.

Been a great show so far, met plenty of long time and new CS'rs and a pile of people from all over the world who know and follow CS often using google translate to see what we are doing. It's awesome to know we have a following all over the planet!

Last day of the show tomorrow, I expect it will go fairly fast too! Get in early if you are going as it closes around 4pm tomorrow.

Sounds great, Andy. Brazen Plus = Behmor Plus? Or have they renamed it to accompany the launch of the 'plus' version?
