Women have greater memory, they file things into memory much more ably then men, and of course, unlike men they can multi-task.  

 Its likely to be this way because women file things AWAY,..back to the drawer, cupboard, garage etc, and of course remember doing it, so they know where everything is. Now men (not all men of course) on the other hand, need to have  great memories. They do create this themselves though as they need to cover the unusual/bizarre disappearance of their belongings.  

They need to remember they left the (now rusty)hammer in the garden out near the back fence three weeks ago when the hammered the palings back on,.. or left the family room TV remote on the shelf of their wardrobe a few nights ago because they discovered it was too difficult to disrobe for bed with the remote still in their hand. They need also to remember that they often leave their wallets in the drawer of their desk at work which makes it impossible to get petrol on the way home from work and impossible to get home at all in a car without petrol.

Yes women have the added benefit of being able to multi-task,.. we can pick up our own stuff to put away at the same time we pick up everyone elses stuff phrrrrrt!. But women are not perfect, despite what every man knows ,..and often miss things like the hammer down the back of the yard, or the TV remote under a pile of socks in the wardrobe.

Its tough for men... you see,.. its not that women have better memories, its just that men have to remember all these extra things that women dont , and it has to be confusing for them not to find their tools still sitting on the seat of the lounge where they left them a week ago. *snort*
