Hi Ladies and Gentlemen,
ScootaGal and someone else (ThunderGod?) seemed to think Id volunteered myself to arrange this, and having passed it by my wife, I have!
As Im not around on Sundays, I figured a Saturday would be a good bet, and 10am is the start time, to help those who find it dificult getting out of bed after a week of hard labour (or staring at a screen). With Hazels Cupping Class on the 15th September (insert shameless plug here), those of you who are going may need to spend the 22nd with the husband/wife/significant dog/cat/other.
Going from the last poll, I suggest we meet at Newtown, or start it from the other end. Ideally wed take in the following:
- Campos (Newtown)
- Cordial (Newtown)
- Tobys Estate (Camperdown)
- Mecca (City)
- Di Bartoli (Bonji Junction)
- Espresso Galleria (Haberfield)
and any Ive missed - theyre the ones I either know or picked up from the last post. As the last two are in opposite directions, Id prefer to end at a site sponsors than at an opposite direction cafe.
If we made a 10am start at Cordial, anyone who wants to could meet earlier at Campos? I suggest we bring enough cash for a spot of food at the halfway point and go til the last cafe shuts - really making a day of it!
Please indicate if you can come, if you have transport, and what time youd have to leave by! And any cafes which youd like to try, or think we should go past.
