    Hi Sammy,

If youre confident with your machine and with grind adjustment, youll be fine!

    Hello,

Quick questions, its called Advanced espresso at DiBartoli but would it suit someone not much more than a beginner? The dot points listed are things id like to learn more about but im definitely not advanced.

    Thanks

We have a couple of takers so far.

If you think youd like to come along to this one, its time to show your hand.

Ill let things run for another week or so and then cancel unless we have the numbers....

    Advanced Espresso at DiBartoli

Its been a looong time since the last advanced espresso session at DiBartoli and its time for me to visit Sydney again...which gives us an opportunity for another get together....

We are looking at Saturday 8th December commencing around 3pm

    What happens?

We all bring along our machines, grinders and say 500g or so of our fave coffee to play with and dial in our machines and grinders. The aim of the session is to produce the best espresso possible, with familiar beans using our own equipment.  Later, you receive some other coffee unknown to you so you can impress us with your incredible talent!

The session is limited to no more than 6 participants (subject to available space) and will run with 4 takers. There is the opportunity also to "book" a demo machine identical to yours if its in the DiBartoli range...1st in 1st served

This 3.5 hour session will be $120 and Ill be providing a tax invoice. There will be the opportunity for participants to purchase from the DiBartoli range at the conclusion of the session at special pricing as well  8-).

    We look at:

    -What constitutes an Australian espresso?
-Is that right for my machine and coffee?
-What is the best dosing method for my machine?
    -The role of tamp.
-Do I need to temp. surf and if so, how should I do it?
-How do I cope with a new and unknown coffee?
-Milk texture- what works best with my machine? (NB this will not be a latte art session but you are welcome to bring your fave cups to impress us with your skills!)
-Other issues- as arranged in advance by the group.

PM or email me to indicate interest....
