Re: AASCA 2008 - South Australian Barista Champion
Hmmm, looks like there will be a few more competing at the Royal Adelaide Show, especially since it will be the qualifier for the 2009 ABCs.

AASCA 2008 - South Australian Barista Championship
The South Australian leg of national barista competition was held today at The Beach Club in Glenelg. There was a mixture of previous and first time competitors. I am amazed that each year the standard of competition improves with Baristas extending themselves with uniques coffees and very creative signature drinks.
The results are:
1st Place - Ian Callahan
2nd Place - Douglas Bolzon (last years champion)
3rd Place - Johnny Pisanelli
Well done to all the other competitors and I am sure that we may see some of the guys in the Open Heat on the Finals Weekend in Melbourne.
