Theres just a little over a week to go till "Defibrillator" is served at the roastery!

Snobs who attend will need to give me the secret snobby handshake, or something like that, to receive a free pack to take home.

Approached my banker today with an idea for some additional sponsorship, but he wasnt sure if this would take off....but the crowd seem to think so....

Wow thats interesting news Dennis.
Next time Im in Sydney Ill have to visit and see if this brew will set mine ( ICD ) off.
I certainly hope not or youll be chasing me all over the shop.

Thanks to all the snobs who showed up today. I hope you all had as much fun as we did, and enjoyed the Defibrillator and Scotts great latte art.

We had about 100 visitors through the day and it was a great success, so I spent most of my time chatting rather than taking pics. At the end of the day when things finally got quiet, I did manage to take this one...

Well, I had a fabulous time at the opening, Dennis and Sue are great hosts, though they didnt have time to stand still very much. Caught up with snobs Id already met and found a great bunch of "new" ones. Scotties coffees were wonderful, and he very obligingly kept them coming.

Oh, and Dennis new Defibrillator blend is great - well worth coming back for.

Dennis, thanks for the great coffee, the food and bringing Scottie out... maaaan, he makes pouring latte art so effortless! It was great to finally get the chance to meet some fellow CSers as well so overall an awesome day.

My wife doesnt drink coffee but given the combination of Dennis new Defibrilator blend and Scottie doing his pours, she had to have one... so thats saying something!

We had a great time and certainly look forward to seeing more of you guys. Best wishes and success to you and Sue!

What a wonderful day, thank you Dennis. The blend was great and certainly deserved a big unveiling. Scottie was amazing. Add the scrumptious food and what more could a snob ask for... free beans? Got them too I even had a rosetta poured for me by Dennis. 8-)

Im glad to hear that the day went well guys. I wish the timing was better so that I could have made it, but alas no rest for the new father!
Sounds like scottie was a hit, and the new blend might get a bit of a workout which is good.

I hope that things continue in the fashion for you Sue and Dennis and I hope to be their for the 1st anniversary party!

BTW if anyone else took pics posting them for the poor souls who couldnt make it would be much apreciated.

Thank you very much for the great day, Dennis and Sue. Julie and I enjoyed it your hospitality and the GREAT coffee. And great to meet some more CSers.

Scotty Callaghan was brilliant, it was a real education to just watch him in action and to listen to him. Such a nice man too. And when he said to someone "Do you wanna know the secret of good latte art?" the whole room suddenly became silent. Ha ha.

The new Defib blend is a ripper, Dennis. (Goes great with Krispy Kreme donuts too ;D)

Back to reality, Ive lost my mantle at home for best coffee. Scotty Callaghan has really set a new benchmark as far as quality of whats in the cup and latte art (damn you Scotty!). Ive got some work to do!
