Ok, I just got back from up the coast (sorry I couldnt drop in Michelle), and read this thread. Im freakin out!!! It should be great fun though! Looking forward to meeting some of the other CSers in person.... Ive never done any sort of comp regarding my coffee, so it should be fun (said awkardly) And an Espro wouldnt go astray on my shelf hahaha... as if. :

p.s. I think I had only 1 good coffee that whole time up the coast from Sydney, to Byron and back over the past 5 days. Ive just busted into the Malawi I roasted JUST before i left, mmm.

Please confirm the size of the latte because Im used to full sized.

Ive never used any commercial type equipment before (eg HX E-61s, dosers, etc :-/), but what the heck...dive in at the deep end!! ;D ;D

BTW What are the rules?

I want a chance to redeem myself after losing to Ben last year.

Shoot-out @ the DiBartoli Stand.

So far, Dan (Yeeza), Ben (benandfaith), Renzo and myself will be participating.

We have space for two more competitors - Thundergods already expressed interest, so hes got first dibs if he wants in. Anyone else up for it?

Our little shoot-out will be judged by the lovely Hazel de los Reyes, and the winner takes home an Espro Tamper.

Were aiming for an 11am start, and hopefully the whole shebang will be done within the hour.
