What other reasons do people split milk for?

    You live and learn...

I have seen people split milk before, but for other reasons..

On reflection, I can see from your reply a very solid reason as to why it might be done.

I guess one day I will need to look at the Art side of coffee, for the moment I am still learning to make and to enjoy all the subtle diferences in the base product.

Whats so interesting with his milk technique? Splitting milk is what is done to get consistent foam depths for a set of drinks. Its something that is never taught in barista classes, but something you pick up when free pouring latte art.

Can you keep image size to a maximum of 640(W)x480(H) pixels please mate? Anything larger can be difficult to view easily and usually involves excessive scrolling.....

If you are unsure about how to easily resize your images,
this link will hopefully assist .

    Thanks,
    Mal.
