      Nice!
But why did you cover a bit of it with chocolate? Is it because it was a mugacino for a customer?

Here is an attempt I did in a mug for a customer yesterday. We dont serve coffee in mugs, but the lady works next door and brings her own in. It is a 12 oz mug and I secretly love pouring in it.

Yes, it was for a customer. As much as Id like to leave the chocolate off when I do this, some customers dont think theyre getting what theyve paid for in a mugacino if it doesnt come with chocolate. : So, I do it like that or other times, I just use it as practice and cover it up. A shame, I know but thats what you get sometimes!

or just put the chocolate first in the espresso...then pour the milk. Which is what I do.

Ive converted a couple of customers to just having an ACF cappuccinos you serve at competitions....just espresso and milk.

As nice as it looks doing that, do you not think it is better to preserve the flavour of the crema. I too put chocolate over a 1/4 of the top of the cup, so that if the customer doesnt want to drink through the choc they dont have too. Ahhh, dreaming of a world where chocolate doesnt go on cappucino....

                  nice cups !!!!!!!

I dont have a problem with people doing that, but at home for yourself and at a cafe for a customer are 2 different things.

I agree that choc should not be standard. I was quite disappointed a few weeks back when I went to Mecca for a double cap takeaway and although they asked if I wanted sugar, they automatically covered it in chocolate

I agree... it shouldnt be standard. Your crema base SHOULD be good enough and it helps push the flavour through the milk as youre drinking it.

Started off as just random latte art practice....then went for a rosetta...then a double rosetta...then wondered if i could get a body, neck and head of a swan/phoenix...what ever u wanna call it...within the few seconds left of the pour I had left.

So here is a "bird" of some description.....2 wings, a body, neck and head w/ beak.
