  • Japan Latte Art

    These are not my coffees but an example of what you can find in Japan. It goes against what I believed I would find when I got here.

    First is from Paul Bassets shop in Tokyo

                    Have to agree with you there TG.

                    The Barista took extra care with the shot but let the rest down on some lazy art.

                    I do like the way he kept all the nice crema and flavors on the edge of the cup. It allows you to fully appreciate the coffee. You can see this especially on the pic, nice rich tasting coffee no matter which way you pick up the cup! nice.

                    You can see in the Kobe one, its a much better design, but it looks weak if you were to drink it.

                    I prefer PB Tokyo for this reason.

                        That looks great! Awesome color on the outside! Like a fern from NZ...

                        Heres mine from today in Osaka, a place called CAFE MILKART, funny enough... Apparently a latte art champ works here, not today though! but not too bad for the young girl behind the machine. (They even had a Barista Action Figure!!!! Seriously)
