Had a go; think things are on the improve but the milk was too thick so it kinda globbed out. But the stem didnt seem as destructive, so now Im off to Adelaide for a week and away from my machine itll be a great time to practice...

im trying to learn this art too,
my first attempt was abysmal, foam not micro enough maybe, didnt get any kind of picture at all.
I have struggled for over 18 months to get this stuff right, and finally after switching back to full cream, its starting to fall into place.
My leaves are a bit wobbly, and it doesnt always quite work out....but the odd one looks awesome, and the majority do vaguely resemble a rosetta. I can switch back to lite milk now, but its noticeably harder to get right. So im sticking with full cream until my pouring is more perfected.
