  • Alternative to Brazilian pulped natural as a blend base?

It seems to do the job well but...

I would prefer something which didn't product quite so much chaff.

    cheers,

    Atomic.

The Peru ceja is good as a base bean,

I also like it as a SO

    Cheers

I alternate b/w the Brazil(s), the Peru Ceja, and the India Elephant Hills. Have also mixed Brazil with the Peru as a base (don't know why...but it was ok and would give you less chaff). To be honest, I probably prefer the Braz Pulp Natural taste-wise, but as they say 'a change is as good as a holiday'.

Interesting and thanks. I made a 50/50 Elephant/Blue earlier and a batch of Aussie lets see how they turn out in the next week
