oh wow lots of amazing beans there
try this:
120g brazil
90g wahana
60g peru
30g ethiopia
premix the greens (total of 300g) and pop them into the behmor
1lb P2
This should work fine. the ramp up of the profile should tie in with 2C thereabouts
PS: I usually hit cool before end of roast to get to desired roast level and leave door open ajar to cool down as quickly as possible - some chaff will fly out at this point but nothing a vacuum cleaner cant handleLast edited by lemoo; 26 March 2013, 01:25 PM.

Adam,
With all sorts of disclaimers I can tell you I back-to-back roast often, and have done so for 4 years on the one Behmor. There's a theory that the 1 hour break instruction/recommendation is overly-cautious to protect against a litigious market.
And if you do some sniffing around you'll find a number of blends that people pre-blend. If you work with beans of a similar size and processing you should find things a little easier to manage.
I'm pretty sure somewhere in the KJM blend thread there are people who talk about 4 bean roasts pre-blended in a Behmor with some success?

Want to blend but time poor
Hi,
I have a behmor and I am really interested in creating espresso blends.
I have one problem however, I am really time poor and having to wait an hour between roasts wouldn't really work for me especially when you factor in the different bean types requiring different roast profiles etc.
In the past I have tried to throw everything into the drum and roast all the different beans in one go and as you can imagine this hasn't worked too well.
My coffees are almost always milk based, can anyone suggest any solutions or beans that can be roasted together to create a quick espresso blend for time poor me?
Thanks.Tags: None
