EYyyy, anyone blending anything Australian with beans from elsewhere?
When my Tiger Mountain arrives... I might fiddle a bit.. I still have heaps of Cap Coast.. a very nice cocoa-caramelly flavour that produced a nice thick blobby golden crema.. the Cap coast is full of pea berries as well (just for interests sake)..
I was thinkin... I wonder what itd be like - 40% cap coast, 40% tiger mountain, 20% ethiopian sidamo.... I mean thats mostly because I dont have much else. Because the sidamo has a real punchy fruity flavour I dont wanna go overboard, it might spoil the nice smooth mellowness of the cap coast.. and for some reason I just think the flavour of the tiger mountain might pair well with cap coast.. hrm.. could always go a 60:30:10 blend too..
Anyone got any comments, ideas or experience for blending aussie beans?
