Re: 36 blend
First post mate. And that was 24 hrs post-roast. It sadly didnt last more than 48 to be honest :P
The batch size was about 75-80g. After loss it only made about 4 doubles. I had two and the missus had two. We were both in heaven.

Im not even challenging this end-of-year stock-take here with my woefull batch!
But its looking like an an inviting menu for me to choose from ... pm any residual stock (terrible term for any bean, surely)

Re: 36 blend
I did similar with a pizza 20 years ago.Originally posted by 2muchcoffeeman link=1193190437/0#12 date=1193223588Youre all just copycats! :P
The original version was aptly named "Bottom of the draw" blend and it used to happen each december at the coffee academy. A pre- roast plend of all of the beans which dropped out of bags during the year. The 05 vintage was sensational as I recall ;-)
Isnt it fun to make something which will probably never get repeated 8-)
Instead of throwing out, as was the usual practice, all the toppings that landed on the SS worktop instead of the pizzas after a hectic run of orders, I used it to top a pizza base and made the ultimate "Super Supreme" for the satff to eat.

Yah!Originally posted by mwatt link=1193190437/0#7 date=1193211561Im amazed at how even my roast looks. 29 different types of bean, and yet they look far more even than the Ghimbi Im currently drinking.
Im imagining every shot could taste very, very different... which makes it kind of fun.
You need to list them Michelle! "World Blend 29"???
