    Different flavours from different roast levels of the same bean blended together sounds good to me. I have tried this and it certainly changes things in the cup !
    Give it a try.

    With the right beans Ian, this method definitely produces some great results. While youre at it, I suggest you try each profile separately before blending according to the tastes you discover.

    Thanks, Ill be trying them as i make up my blend.

    Blending with different roast levels.

    I was told about a blending secret that some roasters use. It involves using the same type of bean but roasted to different levels eg: a CS-7, CS-9 and a CS11 or 12. or a Light Roast, a Medium and a French or Espresso type roast. Even going for 4 different levels.....

    Has anyone tried this? I guess it would add a new dimension to any roast..
