  • Aceh Gajah Mountain #1

My first roast of this bean is just 18 hours old, and already it is one of my favourites!

Its too young to tell what flavours the mature taste is going to have in it, but just now, it is strong, smooth, and without bitterness. I hope I can make it last long enough to taste it at its best. ;D

Just enjoyed a ristretto 2 days post roast, dense rich crema, huge body, zingy acidity, oh so smooth and intense with a lingering aftertaste, this can only get better and better..................!!

Hey greenman, it does and it does!!

Why not post in the CoffeeSnobs Bean Club, over here

      http://coffeesnobs.com.au/YaBB.pl?num=1247619572

that flynn_aus is trying to kick start (might need a bit more choke though ;D)...

This is the bean that got voted from beanbay as the one to post comments about, and GregWormald posted there after this initial thread.

Anyhoo, leave it up to you.

      Cheers

Roasted Tuesday, amazing development of aroma from the bag, prob. going to try a drop in the morning. Taking some along to the Brissie get together.

Lovely drop, very smooth, full bodied ( as far as my limited descriptive abilities go)....

            BUT.......BEWARE OF BOGIES......

only found this once roasted, almost impossible to pick this up whilst beans are still green due to size AND colour....
