    OK so this got here PDQ across the Nullarbor.

    I put 333g (1/3 of one bag) in the Behmor. Already warmish from previous roasts, ie Decaf wow and Indian Hills Peaberry. Both of which you can barely tell FC. But I gave it a minute on P1 with the beans in then hit stop, waited a couple minutes before starting again. I don't normally bother with this but I think it's the best way to preheat.

    400, P1. Set timer to come back in 10 minutes instead of the normal 12.

    First hint of a crack I hit P3 and C.

    After a few seconds the loudest , longest lasting rollicking FC you ever did hear. 20 secs after FC tailed off I hit cool and opened the door.

    Nice big beans, and v.easy to roast.

    333g became 282g so 15 cups for about $28. Less than $2 per cup.

    I really don't see how I can be expected to wait a week to try this. Luckily(?) I just went to the dentist so I'll probably wait until tomorrow morning. Or I may have an evening cuppa when the last effects have worn off. That's still way longer than my normal 15 second aging period for a new variety.

    PS sorry for misspelling 'Colombia'. Can't change it now.

      How is this processed; does anyone know? The description in BeanBay isn’t much to go on! ‘Fruity’ could be natural or washed. Is the absence of the more delicate classic geisha aromas in the description a clue that it’s natural? My disappointment percentage with natural geishas is dramatically higher than with wet-ish processed geisha, so I wanted to check!. Does anyone know when it was harvested? Trying to work out what the shelf life of the green is likely to be.

          Have you looked at this? Granja - La Esperanza

          Looks like they only process one region as natural.
          From sketchy memory the last time this was available in BB it did not look to be a natural.

              On my second or third batch now. This batch I managed to drink a bit more slowly so I can tell you that two to three weeks after roasting it smells and tastes like chocolate-covered blueberries nestled in velvet. The best coffee I've had. Although 1 kg of Hawaii Kona just arrived so that might change.

                Wow Luca, that was very troll of you. You've been around long enough to know I don't see every single post on the forum, if you have something specific you want answered in public you'll have to nudge me towards the post via [Contact Us] located top and bottom of every page.

                1: Wet mill washed.
                2: Current crop
                3: How long were you going to try and make a single kilo last?!?!

                We landed this in 22kg vacuum sealed bricks, as each is opened it's packed into 1kg ziplock bags and heat sealed.

                The Kona is very good but I'll be surprised if you like it better than this Colombian.

                The bonus of us offering this roasted as well as green is that I can "slip a little" when weighing out the green beans so we end-up with some "leftovers" from the roast. It's stunning in the brazen, very special coffee.

                  I’m super excited to try this one! Just got a kg today, what a smell when you open the bag!

                  Going for P1++++++++ on the old Behmor with opening the door as soon as I hear first snaps.

                  Have 600g of KJM and 300 Colombian Volcan in front of this so should be nicely rested when I get to it ��
