haha and yet I dont regard myself as a true coffee snob. I dont have a trained palate to be able to detect nuances in different coffees. I only know what I like the taste of, and with the help and knowledge Ive gained from being a member here Ive managed to put together a great little home set up that should keep me happy for a few years before upgrade-itis kicks in again :D

I think youre selling yourself short there G62.... :-?

Being a CoffeeSnob is more to do with a state of mind rather than how far youve travelled along the journey. In my view you are most definitely a coffee snob mate..... 8-)

Modesty aside, you have well and truly crossed over to the Dark Side of the Force. Dont forget that at one stage you must have been as ignorant as those you are now complaining about.

Nice site BTW. Ill have to give it a good read through. Now Ive been buying up on coffee equipment, Ive given my poor wife some respite from hints about guitar purchases. I have my heart set on a Taylor (one day) but not sure if Coffee machine upgraditis will put paid to that dream. Ive only owned the Levetta for 3 months so Im trying to behave *:-X

Quick edit: For some reason I thought Taylor was an Aussie brand. I see Maton features quite heavily on your site with good reason but what is the most sought-after of the Aussies these days ?

Maton is a very popular brand but youd be surprised at just how many great Aussie guitar builders there are. Im constantly amazed at the local talent out there!
And we also have world class guitar amp builders as well. Id never consider buying big name brands again.
Currently having a custom built "Marshall" 50 watt superlead clone built by a local amp tech. *:)
